Found some 2015 Mustang GT Rims for cheap, wondering if they will work since they are 38mm not 44mm offset. Everything else matches 5x114.3 18"x8" wide 70.5mm bore. Assuming the load rating is about the same.

I don't think that 6mm less offset will cause any issues. If it matters, I don't believe the center caps are interchangeable. I might be wrong though. Can you test fit them before buying?

What would stop the center cap from going? I guess I could ask.

I looked into putting Mustang rims on my Mountaineer a couple of years ago and I seem to remember reading that the caps are different in some aspect.

Well they fit no cap issues on the front or back. Just wondering now about finding larger diameter lug nuts, The 2015 GT uses a 14mm instead of 1/2.
