2016 Explorer Alarm Sensitivity Location

Can you be a little more specific on the location of the module? I need to adjust mine as well. I have had a couple thunderstorm and truck rumble alarms.

It is mounted wherever the person who installed it, decided to put it. Its an add on kit that plugs in line with the diagnostic port. The harness is about 2' long. So it will be in that vicinity.

The install document says behind the glove box but mine wasn't. I'll take a pic and show you where mine is.

So is this something I should consider for my 2013? It has the factory door opening alarm but I'd like a little something extra that is dealer installed. Hopefully, I can use the original keys, etc.

Is it still around $400.00 parts and labor at the dealer? Should I ask for the optional perimeter alarm?
