how do I get windows down in 2016 ford explorer without starting the engine. The FOB unlock 2x feature does not work. I have to start my car everytime just to get the windows down then turn off engine then restart engine to get them to go back up. very frustrating when I'm on break at work. anyhelp would be appreciated!

Welcome to the Forum.
Put the ignition in Accessory mode and then you can open and close the windows. After you've opened the window, turn the ignition back to OFF so that other features, such as lights, don't stay activated.

Thank you Peter! I wasn't sure if hitting the engine start button to get into accessory active status and then hitting engine start/stop button 2x more to get out of accessory active status was my only option. I've never owned a "push start button" vehicle before so everything is very new for me.

You are welcome. I'm on my 6th push to start vehicle. One thing I'll mention in case you haven't discovered it, is that the radio always has power going to it so it can be returned ON without using the ignition button. It will time out after a set time, but can be turned ON again by simply using its ON/OFF button. The garage door opener button, if you have it, also always has power to it, so you may want to keep that in mind if you park outside instead of using a garage.
