2016 Ford Explorer - 3rd Row Stuck Down

Just bought a used Ford Explorer. We had looked at others to demonstrate how the seats move but unfortunately didn’t try on the vehicle we purchased. Pushed the buttons when we got home and no response. Checked the fuses and they looked good.

Will be contacting the dealer to verify their 120 point inspection. In the meantime, any suggestions on what to try? I am somewhat mechanically inclined. TIA.

Do you hear any kind of noise at all indicating that the motors are working? Are the headrests clear of the 2nd-row seats? When you tried to unfold them was the Explorer running? I had an issue once that mine would only work with the vehicle running. I think the battery may have been low at the time. Mayhe suggest a 121 point inspection. Good luck.
