Hello,

Does anybody have a wiring diagram for the 3rd row seat for a 2015 Ford Explorer Sport? Everything I am finding online so far is from different model years and/or different colored wires than what are shown. The wires pulled out of the plug on the driver's side and trying to sort everything back in order.

Can you post a picture of which plug or give some more description, there are a number of them if we're talking about the main control box under the drivers side seat iirc. I have an electronic copy of the 2014 manual and a paper copy of the 2015 at home.

Make sure you take the orange thing out before you try and re-pin it, your pins may have the latching part broken off or bent in depending on pin style. If those colors aren't right give me a list of the colors and I'll look at the 2015 book when I get home, or just look at my 2015, if you can see them with the car still assembled at least?

Thanks mmorey 79. The 14B720 side of the diagram is exactly what is matching. However, the 14B719 side, I have different colored wires that what is shown in the diagram. Example, I have 2 blue/white wires in Pins 2 & 3.

719 is the other connector still intact right? If so I'd say 720 is probably the correct colors for this connector (720 should be male, which your picture appears to be the "male" side) but I can check the 2015 book at home later this evening.

Does anyone know by chance on how to buy the pins? My wires came out of the pins and they are damaged.

Looks like a WPT-1050, you can drop 60 bucks or so at the dealer for a whole new connector (most expensive), cut off and take in a connector and see if your dealer has just the terminal pins (somewhat cheaper) or take a bunch of measurements and find the correct generic pin, some google fu suggests these are yazaki 2.8mm (cheapest) unfortunately this isn't one of the more popular connectors as people have found and listed the terminals for a lot of the more common ones. Looks like it's this fella: https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Yazaki/7282324340?qs=yqaQSyyJnNhBUfzqZoSz5A== which I'm pretty sure takes yakazi kaizen 2.8mm pins (male I believe they'd be considered in the case of the connector shown in this thread)

You can get just the PINs. Your Ford dealer has the Ford service manual and in the wire diagram part they can access both the part number for the connector and the part number for the PINS of the connector. They usually come four PINS to a bag, and dealers usually sell the whole bag, not just one PIN. The PINS come with about 4 to 5 inches of wire already crimped to the PIN.

I went to the dealer yesterday and they said they can't get the pins like that. Had to get the whole connector

They did not know what they are doing, or they are backordered.

I got PINS for four different connecter on my 2019 Ford Taurus. So YES you can get the PINS

Ford Motor Company now has Wire Terminal Repair kits available to allow replacement of damaged orcorroded terminals in a connector. This can save a customer hundreds of dollars for a complete wire harnessand the labor to install it.There are 10 female terminal kits, 6 male terminal kits and 5 Power Distribution Box (PDB) terminal kits thatwill service 65% of the terminals used on Ford vehicles today. This is accomplished by having one terminal ina kit that can substitute for up to 10 other terminals in the vehicle. To help identify which kit you need, Ford has started updating the Online Wiring Manual on the Ford PTS(Professional Technician Society) website with terminal information. Not all manuals will have this information. Here’s how it works:• When you are looking at a wiring diagram on a 2013 or newer vehicle, click on a connector number(C Number). It will take you to the Connector Face View page where there is a box that says “Checkfor Terminal Part Numbers.”• Click on it and it will display the Ford Engineering Part number of each terminal in the connector. There also will be a chart that shows the terminal part number and the Service Part Number of theWire Terminal Repair Kit that will service that terminal.
