2016 vs. 2017 Platinum?

I am hoping to purchase a Platinum in the next couple of months. I have found a couple of left over new and used '16's. Other than the SYNC3 system are there any advantages to purchasing a '17?

There really isn't that much that changed. New colours for'17 as well as Global Open for front windows and moonroof.
Also, depending on how long you keep your vehicles, purchasing a 2016 will already be a year old model wise. Running boards will be a late availability option on the 2017.

Black interior. 2016 only came in white platinum leather.

Correction, black leather interior was a late availability option for the Platinum.
