2017 Availability and SYNC 3

Does anyone know when 2017 Explorer Platinum might be available? I am in the market for a new lease. Considering the 2016 Explorer or a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee (not released yet). But the whole SYNC 3 thing missing on the 16 explorer bothers me. Any thoughts?

Depending on whether or not Ford changes it production schedule from the 2016 models, the 2017 models will likely begin showing up around the end of July as has been mentioned before. I believe production of the 2016 began June 2nd 2015.
