2017 Ford Explorer Sport
Hi everyone. I am new to this forum. I have a 2017 Explorer Sport that has a pretty constant squeaking sound in the cabin. I can't tell if it is coming from the second or third row. Has anyone else had this issue? If so, what was the resolution? Ford dealer said they "couldn't duplicate the problem" which is funny as I hear it constantly when I am driving.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the Forum.
Have you tried having another person in the vehicle to help and try to isolate the area of the squeak? Sometimes in cases like this, it could help if you and the tech did a ride-along so that you could point out the specific noise as only you know what it is that you hear.
You could start by perhaps folding the seats down to see if that has any effect. Sometimes it just comes down to a matter of eliminating certain things.

Thank you Peter. I have had my girlfriend sit back there, as well as, ride with the seats up and down. No luck but I will try to have my service manager ride with me. Great idea.

Have you checked the spare tire well to make sure things are tightened down? Let us know how things go. Thanks.

we had squeeking from 3rd row. Narrowed it down to the metal baby seat/tie down rubbing against the leather or maybe dust etc.
honestly i wasnt sure, it seems strange given the squeek i would have said was metal on metal but after cleaning out the areas there has been no more squeeks.
