Just got a 2016 Explorer Sport with 80k miles on it. 3.5L Ecoboost.
Day after getting it when driving it cold I noticed a squeal from the engine that happens when I'm coasting. Usually goes away after acceleration. Doesn't do it when it's warmed up (making it hard for the dealership to diagnose). Anyone seen this?
Thanks

Check / change PTU fluid

Welcome to the Forum.
If it doesn't do it on startup then I think you can likely rule out the serpentine belt. With the mileage you have, it would be a good idea to have the PTU fluid checked as mentioned above. Many members have now taken to replacing the fluid at 30k or so miles. It is exposed to a lot of heat and there isn't much of it. 17.9 fluid oz if you have the 3.5L AWD.
