Just turned 18k and this has been a great vehicle so far. Today I noticed a rattle coming from the engine compartment and it sounded like it was coming from directly in front of the driver side of the vehicle. I turned off the heat/AC system so it definitely isn't a fan issue. Didn't seem to do it when idling at a stand still. I popped the hood and didn't see anything obvious that was loose. I have an oil change soon - any recommendations on what to have them take a look at to find this noise? Thanks, Adam

Welcome to the Forum Adam.
Rattles can be a difficult thing to track down at times. Is the battery secure? Does it happen all the time while driving or just on bumps etc.?

Peter

Does the rattle change or go away/get worse with rpm change? What about with it in gear.

Sometimes I can hear the radiator louvers slam shut, kind of a rattle.

That's the first time that has been posted. ;)
