At times, not always, the engine/trans hesitates and stumbles on acceleration within the first 15 minutes of driving. it seems to be worse during damp weather. With outside temperature in the 40's it seems to be worse. pressing the accelerator, sometimes to the floor, has no effect, then it will end with a burst of acceleration, Remote start for 10 minutes seems to help lessen problem. Could this be a dirty MAF sensor?

Welcome to the Forum.
It could be the throttle body as well. There are several threads of "hesitation" that I found using the 'Search' feature (top right) and here is one of them. Hesitation during acceleration
Good luck.
