I have a 2020 Ford Explorer, Platiunum and the front doors are not responding to the remote unlock with the key FOB; however the back doors and the tailgate do respond to the lock and unlock commands with the key FOB. I was able to remove the actual metal key from the key FOB and open the drivers door, get in and start the vehicle and at this time I could reach over and open the passenger door using the inside door release handle. However, the lock knob on the front doors never responded to go up and down / lock and unlock with any of the remote FOBs or controls on the doors themselves. Any suugestions for a home remidy?! I'm a new member and this is my first post. I hope I got it right!! Thank you!

I was able to figure this out by reading something similar on another post! We live in MN and just experienced the coldest week of the year of -35 to -45 degree temps with windchills. We had not driven the Explorer for a while and the battery must have gotten below the 70% charge level where both the remote start and power unlock for the front doors fail to function. Once I got in and started the vehicle I ran it with slightly higher than idle rpms for about 20 minutes, the battery was charged enough and normal function was resumed. Good for now! Thank you!

Thanks for for updating the thread. I'm glad you've got it figured out.:chug:
