I found this really great deal but....

is 305/45/22 pushing it? or will this be okay? thank you :) :us:

305/45? Wow that is a wide tire.

I usually say 50 series sidewalls are about the best for low-profile looks with enough sidewall to avoid instant pothole damage and get a decent ride, but 45 series with a tire that wide would probably be fine.

You'll have to be sure about the wheel offset for tires that wide, though. I'd suggest a test fitment on both the front and back and be sure they won't rub at full lock when steering, or stick out past the fenders and will cause body damage with sudden suspension travel.

They'll probably look great if you want wide tires and big rims and have some engine mods to help push them, but it's the wheels and the width/offset that will determine if they fit. I'd say they will either rub with steering or stick out past the fender since the tires are so wide.

hi there i have 265/35/22 on my 08 explorer eb and i those stick out a little bit from the fender i think the ones u want to get are way to big and will rub. Are you lifted or stock im stock but if your lifted they probably would fit.
