What do you guys think about the 265/75/16's with the 4.0 and 3.55 gears? My Ex is 2003 w/210,000 miles on it and runs great, no problems at all. I need to get new tires and want to get 265's instead of the 255/70/16 I have now. And later when I have more money get RB's 2" spacers. I'm concernered about the ball joints and strain on drivetrain. I know there's probobly alot of you running that combo, just want your thoughts

265/75/16 is fine on stock suspension and drivetrain...

i ran 265/75/16 bfg with no lift for 50,000 miles....

im running 285/75/16 with 3.55 and it runs fine just a little power loss...

2 inch spacers will put a very slight knuckle in your ball joints...best bet is to go ahead and replace them when you get the lift and get an alignment and you will have no worries...

My transmission started acting up shortly after installing 265s. It is probably just a coincidence....

I'm running Toyo Mt 265/75-16 and the only problem i had is that the front tires would hit the top when i would bottom out. Then again i dont take it easy on it and now the transmission has no second or overdrive...

265/60/18 is pretty close to the stock 255/70/16 diameter. I plan on running these pretty soon. I hope it works!

Excellent point!

Probably right.

I had that size tire and had no problems other than a skewed speedo. Went back to stock and started having problems. Dealer put 2 different sized tires on the truck. The auto 4x4 LOVES that!!

New 265/75R16 BFG AT's are on order!! :)
