1990 Bronco ii
Hello! I have a 1990 bronco ii xlt. There's a place right down the street where everybody in my town off roads/MUDs. I can get through alot of stuff, even with 2wd. But I was wondering what a good mod would be for being able to be able to keep up with stock 4wd jeeps/4runners etc... I already have the wrangler silent armors on it. Would a lift help? I'm kinda lost as to what I can do to be able to go through more stuff without 1 of my rear tires spinning. It's getting annoying. I'm only 17, that's why I am not able to get a 4x4. I know it will never be a 4x4, but I want to beable to do alittle more stuff with it.

Thanks!!!

Austin

get some kind of locker in the rear of it, look for lunchbox lockers first bk they will be the cheapest ones, like aussie, lockright, or ezlocker. in my neck of the woods bronco II's and rangers are a dime a dozen, if yours is in good shape it would be a pretty simple thing to swap a 4wd front axle and tcase in, they will bolt right up. And if you can find a non running parts rig with good front axle and case in it will also have things like driveshafts etc. the best thing you can do to make it keep up is make it 4 wheel drive, if thats not possible give the rear as much traction as possible. I welded the spider gears in the back of my bronco and it has been pretty awesome what it will do in 2wd, that being said its not super friendly on the street.
