3.5 screen question

I just completed the upgrade to 3.5. I notice that at the bottom of the screen where the tree menu buttons reside, the left button (the "i") has a little wifi symbol beside it. What does this mean? Is it a setting that I need to change?

Is just that the WiFi is active. It shows automatically. Before it was at the top of the screen.
