3" lift shifter extention

my son and i just installed an 3" lift on his 93 exp sport. everything went fine, however, now the shifter hits the center console in 2nd and 4th gears. any suggestions? thanks!

I supossed you just installed a performance accessories 3" body lift kit, (part #883)Don't you? Well, anyway they have a shift extension for manual transmision, you maybe want to see it by yourself:
