Ok i searched and found no answers, forgive me if I missed it,
What I was wondering is what is the widest 30 inch I can fit under my 97 X. I dont want to do any lift if I dont have to. I like the Swamper TSL 30/10.50. will they fit with a 10 inch rim???
Help

If going with a 30" tire, the 10.5 would be a great choice and it would fit with no issues.

They will fit fine on your stock 7" wide rim. I wouldn't mess with getting a 10" rim, it would actually look kinda silly.

So if I wanted to get some other rims 8 inch would be better and also would 11.5 fit also

a 30/10.5 will do fine on a 7 inch rim... however, since it is a smaller diameter, it would be even better on an 8 inch rim..... an 11.5 will fit just fine on an 8 rim as well..... be careful though, as going wider normlly promotes rubbing issues and minor cutting may be due

on a 97, you should be able to get 31x10.5 under there with no rub, and on the stock 15x7 rims. they say you can get tires up to 4 in wider than your rims but alot of people run 12.5" tires on 8" rims just fine. if you are getting new rims, no way would i get 10-inch rims unless you will be putting 33x12.5 or bigger on them...which brings me to a point. its cheap and easy to do a TT/shackle or TT/AAL on 2nd gens and be able to stuff 32s or 33s, so as long as you are looking at tires, i would drop the extra 50 for shackles, do the TT and get 32x11.5....oh, and dont forget the alignment.
