31s on stock running gear

I have the 3.55 open diff in my X (axle code 45) and I was wondering if running these stock gears with 31s will absolutely kill my performance (acc., gas, etc) I will be putting on the Gibson Cat Back system so that should help...anything else i could do to improve, or at least get back to normal performance after the mod...(and i have searched, but i couldnt find any personal anecdotes from people with 3.55s and 31s.) Thanks.

i have 3.27's and they work fine on the street. Offroad it would be nice to have them abit lower, you should be fine.

holy crap..3.08? i have 3:73s and it acts like stock. but i want 4:10s for the extra pep..

Your fine. I noticed a little loss with my 31`'s & I have 3.27's.
