Anyone running 31x10.5's with the 3.55 gearset? If so how is your acceleration & power? I know 31's are not all that much bigger than the stock p235's, but the SOHC motor doesnt make much low end torque either. I did run this combo (3.54's) in a FSJ w/a 360 V8 and it wasnt too bad but the AMC makes all its torque and HP at a very low rpm. Thanks!

I have 31x10.50's & 3.73's in mine (not much difference than yours) and don't have any problems with acceleration, power..it's a v6...what power?? It's gets on the road and will maintain speed w/o any problem. If I'm wanting to play with power, I hop in the 'stang..:D

yeah, i know power is a relative thing with these vehicles, but look at my sig and see my other rig and you'll understand what I mean. That old 258 I6 with a one barrel carb cant get out of its own way, but the flip side to that is that the motor is virtually indestructable. just keep oil & water in it and you cant destroy it. I know, cause I've tried. most reliable engine I've ever owned. period. Thanks for the reply.

i have the xact same setup, and theres not too much noticable power loss, nothing to be concerned about at all

same as in mine. I noticed a little power loss but not much. I did notice some gas mileage loss but I'm starting to gain that back by changing some filters and stuff that needed to be done.
