I am looking at 31X12.5 Super Swamper Bogger tires and i wanted to know how much of a lift i would need or what i would have to do to get them to fit (is it possible to just trim the fenders to get those to fit?)... people told me that 31X10.5 would fit without any lift but i want to possibly go wider if i can...also there is the possibility of goin to a 33X10.5 so how much of a lift would i need for those..thanks guys i appreciate it

you can do a 3 inch lift and fit both tires. you can fit the boggers with just trimming the fenders. but even the 31" boggers are a heavy tire and if i ran them, i would regear cause my 31" boggers seem like they weigh as much or a little less than my 35s weigh.

i personally wouldnt choose either of those tires...BUT if i had to choose one, i would choose the 33. The 33x12.5 is gonna look rediculous IMO as it is too much of a chode tire. The 33x10.5 is a nice size, not one that i would pick, but why not pick a 31x10.5. Thats the normal size and is wider than stock. Slap it on some 15x8 wheels with 3.75 backspacing and you got yourself a nice set-up

I run 31x10.5's with no trouble on stock wheels. The wider 31s might rub on full stuff and steering. The way mine sits on the 31s I could see the narrow 33 fitting on the stock rims but, maybe I just see wrong.

I ran 31/10.5s for 4 years with no lift. I only rubbed the inner fender a little at full lock to the left. a little trimming of the inner fender and it didn't happen. but you can run 32s with the f150 spacers.
I ahve the 5 speed and like the way the gearing is with the 31s. The 31s look really good on the stock wheels and lift. It was capable off road if I didn't get in the deep tire ruts. even did well in the sand.

Guys... this is a 5 year old thread, brought back by a post of "."

LOL, I hadn't noticed that.
