351w mounty heart transplant

I know I have been gone for a while everyone but, I am back and on a mission now. The original plan fell through to put a built ls1 in the mounty but, I got a deal on a bunch of blue oval stuff last week and will be dropping in a 351w VERY soon. I will have pics uploaded in the next day or so.

SWEET!!! If I was on a budget and wanted to make a track type Explorer, this is the route I'd go. What trans are you using? FI or carbed?

This is going to disappoint a lot of people but it will be carbed the trans is a aod because I am going tobe driving it on the street a lot.

There should be no disappointment. A properly built 351 can easily do over 400hp, and an AOD can hold up behind that if you use a little common sense at the stop lights.
