36" Interco SS TSL's

I want to put these on my X with 4.56's, and 15x8" wheels. Will this work well? I also only have 6" of lift. I am thinking of either getting 8" coils, or maybe just spacers and getting an add a leaf for the rear. What do you guys think?

Andy.

Oh yeah, I may just use the sawsall for tire clearance also. I would like to keep the lifting to a minimum. How much are the perry's fenders for added clearance?

Sorry I can't really help all that much, but before you spend the money on new tires that are going to eat your front driveline up, have you considered an SAS? That way you can not worry about breakages or alignment, and be able to run the 4.88's that will really work well with the 36's.

I wouldn't lift it any higher, especially if you're willing to trim. 8" rims should be fine if you're looking at the 12.5" width TSL's.

Your front drivetrain should hold up as well as everyone else's who's running 35s or 36s.

bump

So, 4.56's will work? I know 4.88's would be the best, but I already have my front 4.56's.

Oh, I would love to do the SAS, but $$$ is the problem. I want to wait till the TTB really pisses me off. Right now, my only complaint with it is the alignment factor wich isn't a real big problem. I have also seen rock crawlers that have put in the D35 ttb to get mor articulation, so If anything, I might just get some softer 8" springs or something for more flex. I figure the 8" springs will compress down to 6" height after a while. Maybe I can fab some eb 8" springs onto my X.

itll work just be prepared to trim ALOT u run about 9" of lift and 36" ssr's rubbed like crazy

Coil Spacers

I'm running a set of Rough Country (rubber) coil spacers, and they are either settling, or they compress on bumps. The ride is much smoother than without the spacers, but they don't hold their shape in rough situations causing my tires to rub fender quite often...
