Honestly, I like the way it looks, but I don't know if I'd do it. Also, living in Canada, I'd probably scrape it off when clearing snow off the car, so I wonder how long it would last.

Any opinions?

Meah, not sure about the text... It was better to say "Hit the brakes NOW" :)

Dude, I like that a lot. that is a way better idea then smoking my third brake light. Although the price is a bit much for such a small piece of vinyl. You could cut 4-5 on a regular sized roll, even if you have the perforations for the older style machines.

I laughed at Sonic.
They make custom ones, you should ask for that.

And @Blkbauer, I was thinking about how I could make this myself.
I think it would end up costing the same amount. And this one is the EXACT explorer logo..
I'm thinking about it.

Should I get it?

I plan on buying one on Friday when I get paid, I think is is cool, but a little pricey. You should totally get one.

I wouldn't but it wouldn't bother me if I saw it on another X.

I asked the guy how long they last, especially in Canadian winters.
He replied, "It will last longer than your truck."
Not sure if this is some sort of diss, or if this sticker will last for 20 more years. :D

Im thinking put that on mine and spray Nightshade over it :D
I think its pretty cool.

I like it, but my HMSL died awhile back and I simply painted the lens black to match the housing.

That's legal in Texas?

It's a little ricey for my taste.

That's legal in Texas?

Yep. Not part of the State inspection process. Only the body mounted ones count here, for now.

I looked up it's legality for most provinces/states.
It says that in order to be legal the light must:
1. Output light at a reasonable brightness
2. Reflect light shined at it.

Technically, this can't be illegal, since it's still showing the original light through the cut out parts.
Tinting your lights is worse than this.

I put a TREK bicycle decal on my van 3rd tail light 3 years ago and it's still there still black as ever and even backin outta my inlaws drive and gettin scrapped by low branches overhanging there my roof is scratched to mess but the decal still perfect. Just make sure u clean it good with windex then go behind that with alcohol so there is no residue at all once that dries center and make sure u get the bubbles out.

So, I guess this will last a while?

Yeah average life of a good quality vinal decal is 5-10 years low quality like the cheap-o vinal cutouts u get at a gas station or book store is 1-3 years my Calvin kneelin st a cross is peeling off my van already same age as the TREK

Did you end up buying this? Lol.
It came up on my eBay front page again and is tempting..

More appropriate would be -wanna own it, get closer.

I never bought it, I forgot. Then I just painted some nightshades on it, so I figured it would be pretty pointless anyway. I am interested on how it would look with the nightshades though.
