Noticed that the passenger side 3rd row seat won’t work correctly.. when it’s in the normal position and trying to move it, to stow or fold, it doesn’t move.

BUT when I hit normal position again, it moves a little, then it will work like nothing happened it will stow, and fold. ..after it sits for an hour or more and then I try to move that side again it won’t move until I hit normal again..

It seems like it looses its position or something.. is there a procedure or like a relearn for this?.

There is no relearn procedure. Is this happening when you attempt to fold/stow both together or just that one passenger side seat?

Thanks for the reply!

It happens when I try to fold or stow on both or just passenger side.

When I hit normal it moves a little, then I can fold and stow it. I do it multiple times and it works flawlessly. Only when it sits for a while and try to stow or fold it, it won’t move until
I hit normal first.. which is odd

I would guess that the fold sensor is damaged or loose or something. You might try next time it doesn't work to yank the seat back hard one direction try the button, then if it doesn't work the other direction and try again and see if it then works. The seat has sensors to tell when it's fully folded/unfolded that may not be triggering. I believe they're part of the motor itself though.

I've never actually checked the 3rd row power equipment out to see how it functions or how accessible it is. I wonder if it may need some lubrication although I've not read anyone having to do that.

Ok thank you!.

I removed the driver side seat cover to reveal a module and checked for any corrosion or tears or anything in the harness and all was good.

Reconnected everything and now it’s working fine.. but no telling how long that I’ll will last..
