4.0 MAF to 5.0 harness.

I need to know if it's at all possible to adapt a 92 eeciv 4.0 OHV maf sensor to a 98ish EECv 5.0 Engine and harness.

I need a maf for my engine swap and I don't want to buy another one. Also I have a nice vortech maf for the 4.0 I'd like to reuse.

Just buy one off eBay......

The electronics are different, calibrated for different injectors.

what I'm really talking about is splicing the wires from the early maf in to the late harness.

Kinda like when you use a mustang TB on an ex and have to wire in a mustang TPS.

I want to use the vortech. And the injectors are the same. 19lbhr all the way around.

The upside of using the vortech is it's bigger obviously and I've found you can buy new inserts to calibrate it for different injectors. Which is handy.
