4.0 OHV High Idle 2000ex

starts up at about 1600 and drops down to about 1200 has any one had this problem?

i got a 98 and mine does the same thing other than that its fine

My 99 5.0 suddenly developed a high idle speed about 1500 in drive. After finding a leaking gasket where the idle speed solenoid mounted to the intake. I cleaned the solenoid with carb. cleaner and reinstalled it with a new gasket. That was about 30K miles ago and no more problem.
