4.0 performance

where can i find performance parts for a 4.0 sohc such as cam, engine upgrade kits, heads, intake and other things that will make my explorer have a lil better power with my 33's......gears and exhaust are my next upgrades so other than that

Gears are the best way to deal with 33’s. At least get back to the equivalent of the stock tire and gear combined final drive ratio for your new combination. Taller tires require shorter gears to achieve the same final drive ratio. At this point, a big cam or intake manifold and heads could easily make the problem worse.

Im also contacking Ed curtis and a few other cam desingers I delt with before to see what they can offer.. I'll post when i get replies

I also have some contacts for sheet metal intakes but will need to wait tillend of Drag season to get some test units built
