4.0 T-Stat Replacement

How do I access the Thermostat to replace it? Any easy ways or shortcuts?

3 8mm bolts to get the t-stat out.. takes all of 10 minutes to replace.

Yes, thank you, but I can seem to figure out how to remove the upper intake plastic to get to it.

You don't need to remove the intake. It just takes some patience to get the t-stat out.

If it's the SOHC, removing the throttle body is very simple and gives you more than enough room.
