4.0 Timing Chain TSB?

My 02 Explorer (4.0 w/less than 30k miles) has been making a pingy rattle on acceleration and I'm told theres a Technical Service Bulletin from Ford about it being a loose timing chain. Anyone else know about this and have any experience with the fix?

You can try looking at www.alldata.com The timing chains/tensioners/o-rings are supposedly fixed after 1999 models, so I'm not sure whether your noise is related. Could easily be a dirty MAS. That causes pinging..... Search for "how to clean MAS" for more info.
