Be way cheaper to build yourself. What wrong with your motor?

well it has like 300,000 miles on it. so i want to replace it. its only a mater of time till she finally dies. and i figure i should start with a new block, or at least something with alot less miles on it.

if it's never been bored before, save your money and have it bored out .20 or .30 over. While it's at the machine shop, have them machine the deck, and line bore the crank carriers. Take about .10 or .20 off the crank journals and rod journals. then you buy a master kit with the proper sized bearings and pistons. be sure and have your crank, rods and pistons balanced.

That's what I did with my Toyota with 320k original motor. I'm nearly finished putting it together. I went all in with a port job, over sized SS valves, and all. so far I have a little over $1000 in to it including machine shop and master kit.
