4.0 valve timing

We were going to replace timing cassetts and I have to questions
1. should locktite be used (the front timing cassett bolt came out causing failure)
2. If the crank is at TDC and piston #1 and #5 areat top of cyclinder is are you on the same stroke if the crank is turned 360*
 






No, get new bolts they are all TTY. If they are new and torqued properly they will stay in.
One full rotation out in the crank is fine as long as the cams are still in set the same. Wasted spark so it still gets spark on the exhaust stroke. The only thing that differentiates is the cams.

p.s. Odds are if that sprocket came off the valves are toast on that side of the engine.
 






Thanks, bought new harmonic, jacksaft and cam sprocket bolts. Casett bolts fine but top lefthand side casett bolt came loose but not out because it was stopped by a/c power steering bracket. Chain did not come off no valve marks in pistons.
