Well this is a truck that was dropped into my lap last summer bin driving for a year and love the truck, well i can hear the timing chains get worse and worse on start up, so i bought another engine with lower milage, bought a timing chain kit and head gaskets kit, i plan on giving this truck to my sister with 2 kids and a retard boyfriend.
so i wanna fix all issue's so they can drive it and no worry.
I am a automotice tech 75% done my course till licence got alot of learning to go yet, but i have some questions about removing the head's on thes engine's.
ill set it at tdc #1 when i go to remove the heads and hope i do not have any valve damage, and also have it there for when i remove all the timing chains.
If anyone can give me advise on where to have the crank during this process or give me tips and advise let me know, im throwing out everything for timing parts and installing all new.
