anyone know were i can get them? will a local place thats does axle work carry them? not too sure about them but i know i want one. please let me know. thanks
In your sig. it says you are planning on 31's. If you have no plans of going bigger than 31's then you might not need 4.10's. What is your ratio now. Gears will run you at least $1000-1200. If you have 3.73's right now then going to 4.10's is not worth it. If you have 3.07-3.55's then I would say that it is worth it. Especially if you plan on going to 33's some day.
Yeah, to get them installed, which most people do because it is a very specific science installing gears.
I have 3.55's right now with 31's. And it is OK, you aren't going to win any races but it will still get up and go, I plan on going to 33's next and I am going to get 4.56 gears. But that is along ways down the road.
Im thinking of getting 4.56 gears. What is the break down in price for new gears? gears are about 200 per axle. Im gonna guess there is alot of labor involved in dropping down the front drive shaft so that can be regeared. Im willing to bet if you took it out yourself then went to a shop you could save a few hundred bucks. Im thinking they might also have to take the rear axle out too and if you took that out yourself (assuming it needs to come out.) you could save a few hundred bucks.
