Been discussing the 4.6l timing job with a few of you. Some of you have completed the job yourself recently. For my own benefit, as well as those on this forum that will one day need to embark on this journey, I thought it would be nice if everyone who has completed a Timing Chain complete R&R posted what tools they used.
Part numbers, pictures and links to 'where to buy' websites would be nice.
Specialty tools, work around tools etc. Whatever you used to get the job done. Let's not assume basic tools to be known by all but make a good list for those who haven't done a lot of repair jobs.
Post in what ever detail you prefer!
***Not concerned with who's timing components were purchased as much as what tools were used.
Feel free to mention shortcuts or trouble spots you found and how you handled them.
All comments welcome though when completed, I may ask a Mod to clean up non pertinent posts.
Thanks in advance to all who may have input!
