4 door power seat threads in a 2 door

I've thought about this for a little and wondered if a 4 door power seat chassis would bolt into my 2 door key thing I would pull the seat from my manual ones. Main reason I'm asking is cause my manual ones are getting on my nerves. Plus I rarely see sports in yards

drivers side will, yes. not sure if there was a passengers side power seat in a sport. worst thing you would have to do is strip the seat to the base and swap everything over (track, recliner, cloth, foam, seat back). also, if you find a passengers side seat that is the same as your drivers side, you can use the foam from it on the drivers side. over time it gets pounded down from use, and the passengers side isnt used as much as the drivers side. you can also use the stringers as well, it will feel like a new seat, and you will swear you sit a few inches higher. ive done this in the past and it felt like a new seat

I don't know this because I have only owned a Sport. But I wonder if a seat from a 4-door would have the fold-forward function to get to the back seats. Just a thought, may be fine.

they have the recline latch, but what he was asking is, on a sport, the passengers side seat folds forward allowing more room for passengers to get into the back seat. on a 4 door, they dont do that

Yeah, actually the action on a Sport seat is that the seat back tilts forward and the entire seat slides forward on the tracks at the same time.

I thought so cause that's why my driver side one is so annoying
