4 jl 12w3's... what amps/ how to wire?

ok im planning on buying a used custom made box that will hold 4 jl 12w3's. it is a 2 chamber sealed box with 2 subs in each chamber. first off, which w3 do i want to get for this? i know there is like the w3 d4 and some others, which do i want? and what kind of amp set up should i get? (this is my first system so i dont know anything about audio yet) should i get 2 amps or 1 amp or what... like for wiring issues would it be better to go with 2 amps? i also am going to get new component door speakers in awhile that will be run off an amp too so should i use a separate amp for those, or get a bigger amp that i can run the door speakers and 2 subs or something off of. pretty much im just confused about all the wiring and amps and i need someone to just tell me what i need to do. thanks a lot!

Go with the 1000/1 JL amp...If you don't want to spend that much you can get the 500/1...you might think that is underpowering but trust me dude my buddy has 4 12 w3s runnin off a single 500/1 and it is crazy insane bass. just thought i'd chime in.

ok if i went with the 1000/1 amp, how would i wire it up to 4 subs?

not sure...i would consult an audio professional they should tell you be able to tell you how to wire it free of charge....

us the above diagram to wire 4 single voice coil subs with 4 ohm imp. wiring it like above will give you a 1 ohm load. So you need an amp that is one ohm stable. How many watts do you want to put into the subs. 1000 total, more? Also how much do you want to spend? ill give amp ideas after i get the info

well im getting the w3's and this may be dumb but i thought they all had dual voice coils. and yea i want 1000 total watts which would be 250 per sub. the guy who previously had this box was running 4 w3 d4's with a JL 500/1 amp. i am pretty sure i want the same setup but with a 1000/1 amp instead.

I have two jl w3 d4's and they are 250 rms each

all the w3's have dual voice coils 4 of them should really pound,I have two and they kick ass I have a orion extreme 800 on then,and the amp could push two more no problem

sweet, do you know how i would wire 4 up to a 1000/1 amp.... maybe the JL 1000/1 amp
