I need help! My 4 wheel drive is stuck in 4WD Low. Can someone please list the steps to disconnect my 4 wheel drive so I can continue to drive it until I can get it fixed. (please make these steps understandable, I am a girl!)
I have tried putting it in neutral and shifting it back to auto and nothing is working.

Thanks

First off, it has to be in neutral, fully stopped, and holding in the brake when you are trying to shift. If that is what you have been doing, then...
Some people (for some reason) have found that disconnecting the battery for a few minutes does the trick.

If that fails, you could remove the shift motor (held on by three 10-mm bolts I think, if not then 13mm), block off the wheels so the vehicle doesn't move, put the transmission in Neutral, and then turn the shift rail manually with a pair of pliers (be gentle).

you can also search 'stuck in 4wd low' and there will be plenty of results. Search is your best friend.
