4 Wheel Drive

I have a 92 explorer, 4 door with 4 wheel drive.
Not sure how to get the truck into 4 wheel drive or take it out. If anyone could assist me and get me directions on how to do this, it would be appreciated.

Oh, and I have manual locking hubs if that matters.

If you have the electric transfer case, then you likely need to rebuild the shift motor. it's easy. With no experience, but the right tools, you should be able to do it in about an hour.
Search for sift motor rebuild or transfer case motor.

No, like everything works. Before I bought the truck, my dad tried everything out and made sure the 4 wheel drive worked and everything.

I want to know how to put my truck into 4 wheel drive and put it back in 2 wheel drive.. because I think he said something about having to put it in reverse to get back into 2 wheel drive?

not with manual hubs.lock both hubs in,for 4 high just press the button and any time to engage and disengage,for 4 low you have to be stopped and in neutral,then press 4 high then 4low.same way but backward to get back to 2 wheel
