4L Eddie B Explorer rear end "skipping"/"skating"

There are adjustments for the rear, but I have no idea how to do it. I just had the shop do a 4 wheel alignment after they replaced all the struts. Now if you marked the position of everything before you took it apart and got everything back to that same position, you might not need an alignment. My gut tells me that replacing the front struts will fix most of the issues you are still seeing. I've at 184k on my beast with the original suspension and steering parts (except for the struts).

Pretty sure I can concur. Not really sure how a rear alignment is possible....just nuts and bolts torqud to spec. I don't know how caster, camber, toe can be adjusted. But alas, I'm no suspension expert.

Either way, my main concern is the timing chain issues with the Exploder. Need to do an oil change this weekend. Gonna go full synthetic hi mileage. Have to replace a cat too. Damn I wish I had welding equipment.

Doing oil change today, I can say it looks like all front bushings are rotted as well.
Front sway links new confirmed.
Gonna have to see about replacing bushings all the way around. They're all cracked, dry rotted, deteriorated.
