So, this is the followup to the interchange question I asked a week or two ago. I have a 2000, 4x4, SOHC truck, and I have a rebuilt valve body that I'm putting in on Friday. I want to be damn sure that I'm not missing anything, and have some questions:

1. Casting numbers on the valve body I got are p95GT-AGR, N5LUA. ON the solenoid retainer, it originally said 98 BHA, though BHA has been electro penciled out and replaced with BHC? What's the electro pencil business?

2. The separator plate that came on the valve body was, I think a 4R model, since it has a hole in line with the bolt hole, not at an angle per sonnax's picture here: http://www.sonnax.com/tech-articles/TS6-BW-106-109.pdf But That same sonnax document says, "5R55e plate has bathtub checkball, ahead of bolt hole" I have 4 checkballs, but there is not a checkball in the location under that part of the seperator plate? From reading here, I thought that having 4 checkballs in the other locations was fine, but is there supposed to be one over there too? What's the difference between 3 and 4 ball valve body setups?

3. The EPC and TCC are red colored, and the ford blow-off valve TSB has been done. So, if I put on the appropriate separator plate for my truck, am I OK to go?

I did read the rebuild thread...well the first 12 pages or so, and I searched pretty exhaustively here and with google (which is how I found the sonnax articles). Somewhere in the valve body rebuild thread is there an explanation of what applications have 3 check balls, and which have 4, etc.

Here is a diagram of the VB. # 5 is the check ball, but I didn't see the check ball locations in it:
