Hello again,

Today i finished the complete rebuild, and still can't convince the car to take-off in drive. SO let's come over again and review the operations i did :

I changed the TC, oil pump, valve body + shift solenoids, filter + oil, seals and o-rings, all frictions and plates.

Now it's all fine except that the car doesn't take off in drive. I must wait 10-20 seconds before it does. If i select 1st gear, it takes off immediately. All gears work fine and the lack of torque has been solved, due to the new TC and Oil pump.
So, why doesn't it normally engage Drive? Reverse works fine too.
The only thing i didn't change is the low/reverse servo. Could it be responsible for this? I mean does it handle the forward engagement too? And if it does, how come revers engages ok, and drive doesn't? And why if i select 1st, it engages normally?

2. What is the exact procedure for checking the oil level in the tranny?

What happens if it gets overfilled?

Now, i must take off in 1st and the select drive. And when i stop at a red light, if i brake and then release the pedal quick, the car leaves, but if i hold the brake for a longer time, i must accelerate for take-off. I somehow acts like it is loosing pressure in drive. Is it possible?

Urgent help needed, as i feel like killing myself because of this tranny. I ran out of solutions, money and patience.

Do you have a pressure gauge? I would suggest that you check the reading in drive, and compare it to other readings. The low/reverse servo is only for low (1st), and reverse. It sould like a VB problem, or a piston lip seal inside one of the clutch packs. Does this happen only when it is cold? The oil level on the dipstick is low when it's first started, then increases its level as it warms up. Check the fluid level on flat ground with the engine running. You said that you replaced the VB, but did you also replace the solenoids? How old is the EPC solenoid?
