The 10 pin plug on the passenger side of the transmission has 9 functional pins before 98 and 7 after 98. I need to identify which transmission I have to make sure the wiring is right. Is it just a matter of counting the pins and I'm done? Will the wiring vary within those 7 or 9 pins? FYI my trans and harness have 7 pins, so I assume they are 98+, but I am getting a no shift situation and I want to make sure the wiring is good before I start investigating the tune.
Thanks,
Jesse

Turns out the previous owner manually bypassed the MLPS for the manual swap and had a few things soldered together and the rest were just cut. Put everything back together and it shifts again!
