Was doing the cam position sensor (turned into needing the synchro as well) and believed it was located at the back of the block. Removed the upper intake and vacuum lines associated with it. Saw some fluid on the ground after and initially thought it was oil. Now it revs high in 1st before shifting to 2nd gear and stays high revs before shifting. After some research, the fluid was most likely trans fluid and I want to say it was the vacuum modulator, but I'm not positive this trans has the modulator. I can't find it associated through rockauto, oreilly's, auto zone, advanced or anyone else. Any idea what nomenclature and part needs to be replaced? Also, maybe a link to its location? Especially now seeing my cps and synchro are under the coils in the front of the motor. Thanks for all the help

Bump, running into same issue with it not shifting in to second
