The 4r70w I'm using in myswap won't shift past second gear.
Multimeter testing show that the solenoids ARE working correctly and the computer is grounding them as it should.
But the trans won't shift when the solenoids actuate(sp).
The trans was just torn down and rebuilt before I put it in. No excessive wear was noticed or any indication of damage.
I'm thinking a valve body valve is stuck.
I would like to know what you guys think and also I need a diagram or something tht would tell me which parts of the valve body correspond to which shifts.
Also which pressure taps on the side of the case should I check to see if the correct clutches are being engaged.
