Good Morning Forum, so as i always say anytime I post..electrical stuff like wiring kind of scares me off because I dont want to mess up..Im very impulsive and want to just get in there and make it work and eventually do, but Im not trying to mess anything up because I don't have a back up at the moment lol. I always come here for guidance and instructions so here I am again.
Well here's my dilemma ...recently I got a complete set of 4th gen seats and would like to wire the drivers and passenger seats which are heated as well..I also have wanted to add some other things so I thought of having two batteries and fuse boxes or something so I searched it. I came across people doing it on here so I figured it was doable. I have access to all of the wiring and the fuse box from the 4th gen I got the seats from so in my mind it seems like I should since the seats should be wired to that fuse box thus making it easier for me..thing is I dont have any idea how the seats are wired..where the wires go after they leave the seat..etc. I know some go to the heated seat buttons then they go elsewhere..I also dont know how to understand wiring diagrams yet this is all new to me which i why I still have a pair of aviator mirrors I bought over a year ago still sitting around lol. I was wondering if anyone can help me with this..some guidance..tips..explain how the seats are wired..are they directly to the fuse box at some point or is the harness plugged into another connector somewhere..pretty much how should I go about this ..thanks in advance
