I want to make it so when I turn my switch in my 95 XLT it is full time 4WD rather then it kicking in when it slips. Are there any mods for this? Or anything I can do?
i know this has been discused before, but i don't know if a conclusion was ever reached. it seems like it might be possible by messing with the wiring because eveything is electric and when your auto 4x4 engages it engages into 4hi....so it seems possible to find what wire gets power when 4x4 auto engages, then give that wire constant power via a switch....but i'm no expert, and that's just wild conjecture...but good luck
....by the way, nice light bar!
EDIT: just making sure, '95/'96 control trac had 2wd/auto/4low, right?
