4WD Auto Trans Band Adjustment

I have a feeling this has been covered many times. I did a search but really couldn't find a detailed explanation as to how to adjust the bands in my '93 4WD auto trans. Would any of you be so kind as to explain it to me or point me to a good thread? Thanks

(basically,losen and discard lock nut, install new on, tighten band tightening inner screw to 10 ft lbs, back off 2 turns, hold inner screw and tighten outer locknut.)
