band adjustment ?

Howdy All ! this is my first ranger and i'm glad to have found this site ! I plan on servicing my trans on my 94 ranger 4x4 and i'm told i need to adjust my bands ,when i noticed a late shift into overdrive ! i checked the trans fluid and its not low but i noticed its not even red colored anymore,i'm also told it could be the speed sensor and or the modulator . i plan on changing those if i find the tranny fluid change and band adjustment doesn't do the job ! so my question is how to do the band adjustment on my A4LD ?

Welcome to this forum! Check my list of useful threads as well as the transmission section for the band adjustment chart. From the information that you've provided so far, I would replace the fluid & filter before adjusting the bands since that sounds like it might be the issue.
