4wd grinding noise!!!

Just got the truck from the body shop for repairs after my wreck. Everything on the front passenger side suspension was replaced. When I first got it I lowered the front end about 2.5" when I got it back from the body shop that passenger side was raised back to stock height. I was driving it after I got it back and switched to 4 Hi and it started grinding. I thought maybe it was because that passenger side was higher than the driver side wheel but even after I lowered it, it still does it. What might be the problem and how can it be fixed?

I would monitor carefully. Mine started grinding on a trip to Nagshead. I shrugged it off hoping it would be cool till I got home in a couple days. A week later I got it checked out and it was demolished. I have to get a new one put in. T-cases aren't cheap!

From what people have told me (and if I'm wrong someone please correct me) once something goes wrong with the t-case you can't really get it rebuilt . I just say get it checked as soon as you can because with the auto traction it's always being used and you could be damaging it further.

That thread wasn't covered up, it was just "fixed" so that it fit w/in the rules of the forum that it was in... Now, if you want to start a thread in the Evertying Under the Sun forum asking people for help/recomendations that will be free for grabs if you ask me, anyone that wants is free to respond to it (at least my opinion, but thats not my forum or my rules for that forum, but I think thats where what you want would fit best)...

I'm sorry you thread was moved to the transaction feedback forum, I didn't know it originated elsewhere until you told me to in you PM... Someone else moved it there becasue the way you talked at the begining it was telling everyone about your transaction... I fixed it w/out knowing that... Sorry... But feel free to start one out in open forum... But it belongs in EUTS...

Heath I do not condemn your actions, you are doing your job as a moderator on this board. I just think that everyone should be aware of his actions, what he has done IS a federal offense. So that in the event of anyone else wanting to do something similar to what he did, they can realize the seriousness of the issue and maybe change their mind about doing it.

Hartman he SHOULD have left it where it was. Because it did deal with explorers, but since he did move it, the thread had to follow the rules of the given forum. I do not condemn him for what he did. He moved it, without thinking I guess, and made it fit the required rules.

Uhh guys, I said above that I didn't move it... One of the other mods did... Possibly the mod for the General Explorations forum, because it didn't belong in that forum... But it could have been any mod...
